History Behind Pakhala Divasa-
Odisha people decided that on March 20 to promote odia food celebrate this day as a Pakhala divas.As Pakhala is the favourite dish of every Odia and holds a special place in every Odia’s heart,so it is every Odia’s responsibility to promote this special and unqiue dish. it was included in the recipe of Lord Jagannath Temple of Puri.
